'Rita dares to dream'
Dare2Dream's president, Rita Shepherd, was recently honoured for her tireless and dedicated work with our foundation and in all aspects of her life. In early 2019, she was awarded an Order of Australia medal in acknowledgement of all her work.
As President of this organisation, Rita has dedicated so much time and effort into working alongside all of us at the foundation to help make dreams come true for Indian children and their communities, and we are very proud that today her hard work is acknowledged.

Starting in 2009, Rita worked with students to help create a change and from this, the Dare 2 Dream Foundation was created. Now, this foundation funds five projects run by our local partner, the Indian Centre for Integrated Development, established by Dominican priest Father Herald D’ Souza.
